Jane @ Greenish Bookshelf and I wanted to up the ante for our #AnneReadAlong2017. We know that not all of you have the time to read the Anne series, or have recently re-read the series. We would love any previous posts you have written for these books to be reblogged and linked up to our reviews, no matter how old they might be. But we also wanted to throw something fun out there:

Oh nice! Amanda @Cover2CoverMom just posted 5 Reasons You Should Read Anne of Green Gables and I really liked the idea of tackling a classic in this manageable approach. I am looking forward to these. Curious to see what you come up with for “Top 5 Things I Wish I Could Change About the Anne Series” 🙂
I know!! I was super excited when I read her post last week, and I left a cryptic comment about how applicable her post will be in the future. 😀 It’s like she’s psychic.
That top 5 list will be challenging, that’s for sure! We’ll see what I end up with. Right now, I don’t have much… O_o But I’m keeping a running tally for all the lists as I read. 😀
Oh I don’t think you will have any shortage of ideas 😉
Thanks for posting about this, Jackie! Excited to see what people come up with on these Top 5 lists!
Thanks, Jane! Like I told Danielle, I’m starting to keep a running list for some of these with my ideas. We picked some challenging list ideas!
Smart idea! I think some of these can easily become much longer than top 5 😉
I like the idea of the Top Five list, though I’m not sure on my blog it would make sense to readers who weren’t around when I read all eight books, or who don’t know about the Anne Readalong!
I totally get that. You’re not really into the whole “Top ## Lists” type of posts anyway. No judgment. But it would be great to hear your thoughts as these roll out. I’m certain you have thoughts on a few of them. The Top 5 Things I Wish I Could Change About the Anne series, in particular, seems to inspire me to think you’d have some thoughts. 😉 I’m just glad to hear your voice in the conversation!
That is true, I don’t do a lot of list posts. I tried it when I first started GTL, but I found those posts take me a LONG time. At first, I tried only using images I could credit. Then, I realized finding the right image with or without credit could be hard. And the brainstorming and the writing. Maybe my brain doesn’t know how to do lists? I’ll definitely add in the comments, Jackie! I’m excited!

Ahhhhh now I understand that comment you made on my “5 Reasons Why You Should Read AoGG” post lol I’m so good, I’m ahead of the game lol
Love these ideas Jackie & Jane! I am looking forward to the “Top 5 Songs/Sounds for My Anne Reading Soundtrack,” “Top 5 Adventures I Would Join Anne On,” & “Top 5 Favorite Anne of Green Gables Moments”
I’ve actually already done variations of “Top 5 Things I Wish I Could Change About the Anne Series” & “Top 5 Things I Learned From Anne Shirley” but I’ll save them and add to them as I continue on with the series.
Can’t see what you and Jane have in store for us 🙂
You are SO on top of the game! I just loved reading all those posts of yours too! It’s like you can read my mind. 😀 You are welcome to make your lists longer than 5 if you want to, for sure! I know that my Anne Reading Soundtrack list will certainly be longer than 5. O_o
Thanks for reading along with us, Amanda! It’s great to see your participation. I love reading your thoughts on Anne.
